LUDO MAY x ENTRETRAIL
Entretrail is a volunteer association founded in 2018, with the mission of bringing together the mountain biking community of the Verbier and Val de Bagnes region and voluntarily maintaining the most frequently used MTB trails.
The association also works on prevention and raising awareness of best practices, in order to improve coexistence between hikers and mountain bikers while promoting respect for nature.
Since its creation, I have actively participated in the association’s various gatherings. Two years ago, I decided to deepen my involvement by organizing an annual two-day event with an overnight stay in a mountain hut.
The goal is to get to know the participants better, share friendly moments, and strengthen the bonds within this local mountain biking community. For me, it’s essential to give back to my region, as we are fortunate to enjoy such amazing infrastructure. Maintaining our trails is a way of showing some love back to our beautiful paths and natural environment.
Two-day event
Each year, the atmosphere of these two days is simply amazing. Around 25 enthusiasts join in and enjoy every moment: from shaping the trails to delicious picnics, followed by a great mountain biking ride at the end of the day.
The night in the hut is the perfect opportunity to share even more, with card games and bursts of laughter.
These unique moments not only create unforgettable experiences, but most importantly, bring the community together for a great cause.
The continuation
After three wonderful years of involvement, we aim to focus our efforts on regions with fewer resources to maintain their infrastructure.
With this in mind, I would like to organize two events per year: one in spring and the other in summer. The goal is to bring together a group of 20 to 30 people maximum. This limit allows us to respect nature, avoid any excessive impact, and ensure proper supervision thanks to team leaders present on site.

Après trois belles années d’engagement, nous souhaitons concentrer nos efforts sur des régions disposant de moins de moyens pour entretenir leurs infrastructures.
Dans cette optique, j’aimerais organiser deux événements par année: l’un au printemps et l’autre en été. L’objectif est de rassembler un groupe de 20 à 30 personnes maximum. Cette limite nous permet de respecter la nature, d’éviter tout impact excessif et de garantir une supervision adéquate grâce à des responsables présents sur place

Each event is an opportunity to reinforce this collective commitment, with a photographer and a videographer on site to capture the highlights and reflect the spirit of community that brings us together.
