The 2016 season is on. I just got back from South America where I did my first 2 races Enduro World Series of the season.
The first race took place in Valdivia in Chile with 4 days of riding (2 days training & 2 days racing) with a total of 200km and around 6000m of climb. I am quite happy about my result, some of the stages fitted me well and some less. I managed to finish 30th. It can only be positive for me when I look back a year ago when I broke my collarbone in New Zealand.
On the following weekend, we moved to Argentina, in the nice village of Bariloche. The terrain was incredible, dusty, like powder. I really enjoyed this type of terrain. My feelings on the bike were good and I ended up 31st at the end of the week. I was expecting to be able to push myself a little further and was hoping for a better result but I am still satisfied with this beginning of the new season. The positive is that I had a great training period over the winter season and I have good feelings on my bike. I can’t wait about the coming races.
