Almost 8 weeks have passed since I injured myself during the training of the first important race of the season in New Zealand last March. When I returned to Switzerland, my doctor noticed that I didn’t need surgery on my collarbone but I had to be patient. This recovery period allowed me to focus on other important points, like my mental. During this waiting period, I dreamed myself several times being able to come back on the Enduro World Series circuit for the 2nd stage in Ireland happening this week.
Unfortunately, on the last medical control after 6 weeks of inactivity for my shoulder, the scanner was not satisfactory, the collarbone was more damaged than firstly diagnoticated. Nothing too bad but a longer waiting period for a safe return on the bike. Therefore I won’t be able to race the 2 next stages of the world tour (Ireland & Scotland). The next events on the calendar are the Transprovence in June and the 3rd stage of EWS in July in France. Overall I stay motivated as never and I am already looking forward to annoucing my come back to competition as soon as possible.
